Airbnb, Inc., established in 2008, is an American Company that caters to arranging or offering lodging through the online marketplace. The company is based in San Francisco, California. Airbnb’s founders are Brian Chesky, Joe Gebbia, and Nathan Blecharczyk. Being the biggest hospitality service worldwide, they surprisingly do not own any real estate listings or hosting events; but simply they act as a broker. They receive commissions from every booking. They launched after their founders put a blow-up mattress in their apartment, offering a bed and breakfast to offset the cost of their rent. Its original name was AirBedandBreakfast, and in 2009, the company name was officially shortened to Airbnb. One year later, they had over 15 people working inside Chesky and Gebbia’s apartment and so Chesky decided to give up his room until the company moved to its first office space. In November of 2010, they raised 7.2 million dollars from Greylock Partners. This is a well-established company that has revolutionized the way people book, host and deal with lodging and accommodations.

The airbnb affiliate program lets big publishers earn money by referring new guests and hosts. There is no cap on the amount of new guests and hosts that can be referred. The affiliate program requires 1 million monthly visits to join. However, those who do not have 1 million monthly visits can still join the “Invite friends” and “Refer A Host” program. The affiliate program is on the Impact network however the “Invite friends” and “Refer A Host” are on the website / app.

Airbnb Invite Friends

The “Invite Friends” referral program lets any Airbnb user refer friends to the app or website and earn Airbnb credits. Friends who sign up with a referral link will get $40 off their next home booking and $15 to use towards an experience $50 or more. When a friend completes their first stay or experience, you earn up to $30 in Airbnb travel credit. The travel credits can be used to book an Airbnb and they expire after 1 year. This is a great program to get help friends out and get free or discounted accommodations.

Airbnb Refer A Host

The “Refer a host” program lets any Airbnb user refer new hosts and earn cash (not credit). After a referred host has 1 guest stay, you earn $15. There is a $375 cap which is reached after 25 referred hosts. Users can be paid out via Bank Transfer, PayPal, and Payoneer Prepaid Debit Mastercard.
