Fiverr is an online marketplace for freelance services. It is based in Tel Aviv, Israel. The company provides a platform for freelancers to offer services to customers worldwide.

Fiverr’s services start at $5, and can go up to thousands of dollars with gig extras. Each service offered is called a “gig”.

Services offered on the site include writing, translation, graphic design, video editing and programming.

Fiverr was founded by Micha Kaufman and Shai Wininger, and was launched in February 2010. The founders came up with the concept of a marketplace that would provide a two sided platform for people to buy and sell a variety of digital services typically offered by freelance contractors.

Can you promote your own Gig using Fiverr Affiliate?

Every Fiverr seller is welcome to join their affiliate program, and operate both as a seller and as an affiliate (make sure though to use different email addresses for the two accounts).

However, please be advised that affiliates cannot promote their own gigs. This goes against their terms.

You are more than welcome to promote other sellers’ gigs and services, as well as general categories, but you can’t get paid for your gig as a seller AND receive a commission as an affiliate.

For selected sellers:
If you are only interested in promoting your own gig, you can do it for a fixed CPA of $5 for every FTB you drive to your gig. If you’d like this, tell their affiliate team and they will adjust your commission rates accordingly.
