Founder Traci Costa wondered why children’s clothing was so fussy and didn’t support children’s developmental, physical and social requirements.
Learning more about play and the key role it plays in early childhood development, Traci set out to create clothing that allowed children to play freely, all while being comfortable, durable, and stylish.
The original company name, Peekaboo Beans, was inspired by a game Traci played with her first daughter and their favourite snack, edamame.
